Verizon LTE Network Extender - Open access?

Calling someone’s nodding stupid makes me a misogynist? lmao

What? Now we’re playing the victim, huh?

I called you a Verizon shill. Not sure how that makes me a misogynist lmao

Do you know if they’re treated like regular cell sites? Can prepaid, MVNOs, and international roamers access them like a regular Verizon tower?

I know AT&T was pretty restrictive on who could access theirs.

Please explain more about Wi-Fi to me. You’re so smart  you’ve been doing such a great job, little buddy :smiling_face_with_three_hearts: headpats

I don’t know. But it seems moot as the Extender is so short-range when within an apartment building with such dense walls.

They are. I, on USMobile, connected to a few extenders walking around Denver/Lakewood/Wheat Ridge. The phone (at least my moto, and likely any with VZ customizations of some sort) gives indication that its an extender with a funky looking LTE icon.

She’s a woman, and I found the nodding to be stupid, and the “fact” Verizon presented to be incorrect.

What should I have said? I found the genderless person’s nodding to be stupid? Would that not make me a misogynist?

Much of what you say here is laughable and incorrect, like you want mmWave everywhere and think it should replace Wi-Fi lmao

There are a few rural towns I’ve been to with no coverage from any of the 3 carriers, but they basically set up their own coverage with everyone putting Verizon network extenders in their windows.

It’s kind of a neat idea actually. The carriers refused to cover their area, so they basically set up their own small low-power network for the entire town. It works surprisingly well too.

You’re so right, little guy! :star: mmWave definitely can’t replace Wi-Fi! And mmWave definitely can’t be deployed everywhere anytime soon! You have such an impressive grasp of infrastructural logistics :sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart::sparkling_heart:

As I said, Network Extenders are configured remotely by Verizon. Verizon probably cranked up the transmit power on those rural Extenders because they could tell from the reported GPS coordinates that a high transmit power setting wouldn’t interfere with other sites.

I’m sorry that you feel women are immune to criticism, and doing so makes you a misogynist.

So much for wanting equality, huh?

You’re widely criticized and not taken seriously here or on Twitter for a reason.

The specs say it has a maximum power of 50mW. I imagine everyone putting them in their windows facing out helps also.

Aww, it’s so nice to hear that you spend so much time thinking of me! You’re such an adorable sweetie pie, baby! :pie::kiss_mark:

I correct misinformation when I see it, and you post quite a lot of it.

Keep waiting for mmWave to storm the world! You’ll be waiting… and waiting… and waiting…

You’re such a helpful little dear :hugs: I just love how enthusiastic you are to learn and help out! :face_with_monocle::flexed_biceps::sparkles::100:

What I’ve learned is that you post a large amount of misinformation here and on Twitter, like claiming with no merit that there’s some sort of security problem with public Wi-Fi.

You literally repeat Verizon’s marketing points, down to wildly praising mmWave.

I’m so flattered that you pay so much attention to me, pumpkin! :revolving_hearts::jack_o_lantern: You’re such an articulate lil guy! :butterfly::partying_face::sun::heart_decoration:

Are you 12 years old or something? Seems like it, based on the emojis.
