Very slow speed from Singapore OpenVPN

Anyone know what’s wrong with Singapore OpenVPN servers? Today i tried both 201 and 202 and they all have very very very slow speed like the image below

2 Days before i can hit 95% speed from these servers.

Without VPN i can hit both 90Mbps in download and upload.

More infomation:

- Running on ASUS RT-AX86U Router with Merlin firmware

- Followed Asus Merlin guide from official Mullvad blog

- Connected with port UDP 1400 to configure with Unbound and Diversion addons

Take this as a grain of salt since I’ve only experienced this anecdotally, but I experienced the same issues with painfully slow speeds using OpenVPN in 3-4 different countries here in Europe. I then switched over to the Wireguard protocol and I’ve seen non of that slow reality since. If you’re somehow unable to use wireguard then there’s that, but I’d highly suggest a switch to it.
