I’m on P9 pro with gemini and everything, when I got my phone the VPN worked fine then suddenly it stopped working saying it’s not available for my account, I restarted my phone and it worked again for a week then now again the same error message, but now even if I restart my phone it doesn’t work.
Is it blocked in EU or something?
I’m from the EU also and it doesn’t work.
I thought they killed their VPN service midyear?
It’s still wonky when it is working.
On Pixel 7, noticed my VPN was off this morning. Found this message when I tried to manually turn it back on. First time I’ve seen it.
Is your phone up to date with the latest android version? I was on an older beta when this happened to me, updating to the latest android fixed this for me
I’m having this too but on only I’ve of my devices. My pixel tablet, 9 pro xl have no issues. It’s only my 9 Pro Fold that came connect

The VPN by Google is still available for Pixel 7 and newer phones and is currently rolling out for the Pixel Tablet.
Killed as a separate app, living as a built-in feature.
Yes I’m on latest version of android and security updates.
I got a notice on my Pixel tablet after an update announcing the VPN, but when I try to turn it on I get the “not for your account” message too. I have a regular personal Google account, not through work or with parental restrictions or anything like that. Shrug – not sure I was going to trust Google anyway, and I have another VPN already. I thought it’d be nice to try it out, but if it doesn’t work, it doesn’t work. I wish they wouldn’t announce it on a device where it’s crippled, though.
