Because people would join in on VPNs and easyMC accounts to crash the server for hours at a time. There is a whitelist for VPN users though IIRC. I wish it had a form on the website/Minecraft server to make things easier for you guys.
Email phantom about this. iirc there is a whitelist for peeps who want to use a vpn for privacy/security concerns.
The reason why they are banned is because a bunch of retards used them to circumvent bans and crash the server time and time again.
I don’t think vpn should be enabled bc
Some players play with easymc account’s and the account can easily be taken from other users
I can confirm there is a whitelist, all you need to do is to email Phantom about your IGNs and your intention. Personally I often use VPNs to join the server because I live quite far from the server and my ISP sometimes just route me through the other side of the world for no reason.
Do I really need VPNs? No, I can still play with a 500ms ping. But using one would make my ping down to 180-240ms. So I applied and got my VPN exemption.
Or use a residential proxy and bypass the blocker without applying for it

Server owners like to have ultimate control sometimes, best to find a server that fits your needs.
Using EasyMC need to use proxy or VPN ? I don’t think it’s the same problem.
I will if it’s really mandatory to disable VPN to join, but for now I want to undestand why this feature is on now.
They use vpns so they can’t be ip banned afaik, it’s the same problem because without a vpn you can only do it once.
I meant like i can only use the account that i got from easymc and no one else only if he uses the same address like me
