Most people never have a problem with malware or viruses. Honestly Windows Defender and Core isolation is more than enough. But to be honest, ESET isn’t much better than Windows Defender.
Kaspersky is in a league of their own, with heuristics and their ransomware protection and rolling back an attack.
ESET is fine 99.5% of the time. It’s that .5% that it will fail you.
If you use kaspersky you do. Because your security software is controlled by Russian politics.
It doesn’t really matter as it’s banned. I understand your point, though, and I think it was the right thing for the US gov’t to do. But I also had 18 months left on my subscription and I’m not too happy. Now I only use the password manager since I still have the license. All that being said it is the best consumer security suite.
