What’s happening in episode 9!!!
The difference in maturity levels with the family meet ups at each farm was TELLING.
Kale and Greg- Greg’s friend basically saying that Kirkland should be worried about him flirting with people while out. WHAT?
Hayley and Quinn- Quinn bringing her own gifts… W.T.F i have no words.
Kennedy and Alysha- Kennedy’s friend saying she could not see her on a farm/with Josh. Gold. Loved the subtle digs!
This episode just cemented my rather cynical belief in the fact that post-2018 dating just sucks in general everywhere, even in picturesque B.C. All these people are terrific individuals, but most of them paired with each other make almost no sense. However, what I do find inspiring is that all these people are courageous enough to put themselves out there the way they did, moreso on a platform where the general public is privy to their personal moments and the evolution of their relationships. I sincerely hope it works out for everyone, the farmers as well as the daters.
I think Kirkland should and will pick Kale, but I don’t see it lasting especially if they watch this back together and read social media comments lol. They don’t quite have that chemistry that he and Greg have, but are a better match in every other respect.
Josh will pick Kennedy, though I would have loved to see the conversation with her and her friends after they very confidently said she could never live on a farm haha.
I am so thrown off on Mischa’s edit and have changed my tune, I think his priority might be having kids and maybe he’ll pick Hayley? I hope he does. He said when I think of Hayley I think of babies and that’s pretty revealing. Seeing Quinn’s mom kind of explains why she is the way she is…wow. She reminds me of a teacher who would resent and hate you for no reason lol. I see why Quinn pushed for the gifts but that was such a weird and off putting way to present that.
Looking forward to seeing how it all plays out next week, I’m very uncertain how it’ll all turn out! It’s been a fun season with some great moments.

I’ve been dying to get this off my chest so…
Kirkland - to me Kirkland is an indecisive, want-it-all, supposedly monogamous, drama king, player that claims to be “secure in his attachment” yet is so completely jealous. Honestly I’m over the whole, I’m self-aware and healed act. Kale is real and evolved and he should run as fast as he can from that farm. Let the trainwrecks have each other.
Mischa - i live for Quinn’s unhinged personality but am a Hayley stan through and through. She’s the clear-cut winner for me and I actually see a future for them.
Josh - don’t get me started… he’s slimy, inauthentic, and as someone put it elsewhere in this thread he’s a total people-pleasing politician that needs to be liked and adored by all. Ick. I feel like he’s totally led Alysha on given her obviously deep feelings for him. Homegirl is straight up and honest to a fault (literally) and wouldn’t give this short dude the time of day if he wasn’t sending her clear signals that he sees a future together. My feeling is production is cutting all their real convos in order to frame the josh/kennedy fairytale for viewers. All we get from him re: Alysha is “you’re a good kisser” like at least once an episode. Clearly he chooses Kennedy. No way they last. I also don’t believe her either, but in the spirit of being a girls girl I’ll leave it at that.

Ugh. Some really great people went home this week.
Mischa - Rachel was so cool. I’m not sad that she went home though, I don’t think Mischa was the right fit for her. I see her with someone more centred and open, to match her maturity and clarity.
I was shocked when Quinn brought those gifts for Mischa to give to her Mom and frend. They weren’t even hers to give! I would have sent her home right then. I’m glad he refused to give them. I’m shocked he continues to connect with her.
Josh- Jessi went home, what a sweetheart. I loved how she was upbeat and real but didn’t stir drama. She had a great personality.
Kennedy’s friend saying said she would never have imagined Kennedy on a farm raises some red flags.
Who did Kirkland choose??

No literally and also they should either all bring friends are all bring family because that is such a different thing!
Yeahhh omg thinking about this is terrifying, leaving your family and friends even for a short time, living with people you don’t know and they are dating the same person, seeing them falling in love and doubting your connection. The daters are really strong to put themselves in this position.
