Plus you can use the 3rd party WARP WireGuard program on GitHub to connect with WireGuard instead of their proprietary app, and bind it to your torrent client
yeah he gave a total tone deaf position on this.
I think you have to ask, “Will you marry me?” first
nope no port forwarding if you don’t pay
bro Google it but I’m pretty sure it’s in network settings it’s just a little checkbox
options>bitorrent>privacy> Enable Anonymous mode ( qBitTorrent v4.5.0)
Rob Braxman explains my point at 49:18 onwards
you do you, I’m gonna trust the Brax though
Thanks, i didn’t know that, I have a question for you, if my institution has blocked the app (connecting status stays forever and doesn’t connect). But it works on other networks, what can i do to make it work? I tried using the proxy option in the app and using other ports but it didn’t work,
Yeah, that’s how you say it. Now I’m more interested in you. Sorry, Kitsumene.
No its not and i couldnt find in google… anyway
Also, that entire video is a worthwhile watch for pretty much everyone just FYI for anyone who sees the comment
Cloudflare warp uses WireGuard behind the scene, which is very easy to block on any port. Your only options here are using an OpenVPN based vpn, or udp2raw which I know nothing about but looks fairly simple if you consider yourself tech savvy. Also, the proxy feature in the app doesn’t let you connect through a proxy, it allows other devices (that can’t install the app, etc) to use your PC as a proxy to tunnel to Cloudflare (iirc).
Hmm interesting, as of right now i’m using Windscribe on Stealth port 8080 and it works. However that has limited data so it’s not the best, but thanks for info.
