Where would you personally rank UF Warrington?

It seems to pretty polarizing ranking wise so I’d love to hear what this sub thinks and hear some pros and cons. Thank you!

I see #40 from US News

#23 Financial Times

#17 The economist

#15 Eduniversal

I considered it for my MBA (was accepted) but didn’t end up selecting it. Just my perspective, but it seemed really strong if you’re planning to live in Florida (or SE) long-term. Most of the alum I talked to said the networking was incredible and alumni network is good post-graduation. Although, most of the alums I spoke to were located in Florida or SE. Given that I wouldn’t be living in that region, I felt it was better to select a different program. All that being said, I think Warrington is solid and attractive with the total costs. Just my perspective.

Went to the online program. Started the program making 80k as a Accounts Rep, now working as a BDM with160k OTE for a developer. If you are in the Southeast, a solid program and a great value.

If you want to work in Florida, it’s not bad. Outside of Florida, no one cares

None of the rankings mean anything other than US News. Majority of schools don’t even submit data to FT (USC is #4 on that list…).

Warrington, like most other schools in the range, is good for regional outcomes.

It is fantastic if you are going to live in Florida. The school has insane alumni connections IN FLORIDA. If you do not live in Florida, #40 from US News and World Reports sounds about right.

It is an up-and-coming MBA program with a strong regional focus. That said, it is a ‘semi-target’ for large banking and consulting firms.

Don’t listen to elitists who are only M7-or-bust. There are tons of great schools around, as long as you are aware of the outcomes they provide. If you want to break into PE, UF wont cut it. If you only want BB, then UF can get you there but with a regional focus, say with GS’ Miami office. Which is not what the BB-or-bust hardos want, they’d need NYC.

Chase a good sized presence in Tampa, UF would probably do well with them

Best value program in the country when factoring: Total cost, ROI, and Caliber. Highly recommend.
