well you also get YT Music which I find a huge plus, but if you already use Spotify it is a very pointless add-on.

this. i wish it were modular. but they will never make user-friendly a priority. enough people pay full price so they will continue charging it and increasing it.
You can actually go to GSMArena and go to the search and click on Advanced, and filter by specs to find a phone you want but I personally would recommend the Asus Zenfone 10 if you want a small flagship phone. It has basically everything you would want and is small enough for you.
I personally prefer the bigger screens as it improves readability and multitasking, that’s why I absolutely hate notches and dynamic islands.
