I’ve been on Argentina price for a few years and just got an email about updating my payment method to one from that country. I looked around and found a solution—using a gift card with a new Apple account to buy directly from the YouTube app. I followed all the steps and loaded the new account with a gift card, but whenever I try to make the purchase, I get an error message saying “Your Purchase Could Not Be Completed For assistance, contact iTunes Support at www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww.” Has anyone faced this issue or know how to solve it?

Happened to me. I opened a chat with support from the link in the error. They told me to try again and it went through.
I think you can use your local credit card via Apple Store? With no vpn? I could be wrong but I thought I read it didn’t even need a vpn.

Just did it for Turkey and worked fine.
I gave up with the vpn thing, it just doesnt work… frustrating.
