3 year deals a thing?

I’ve used the service since 2017 with three year deals.
For my last couple renewals I didn’t really pay attention and it always renewed for three years at a time. I generally didn’t really pay attention nor cared cause obviously it was a great deal and I’m generally happy with the service. This last renewal however, it only renewed for one year for the price I had been paying for the three years. Are three year renewals a thing anymore?

*Edit update
Reached out to support via email and got a reply fairly quickly. 3 years is no longer an option at all as expected. They offered to reimburse me for what paid already to let me choose a different plan or keep my current plan but get an additional 18 mos. added. I went with the latter option. Thanks everyone

Two years seems to be the only option.

I got 30 months last year by deleting my credit card info and turning auto renew off. About 4 months before my expire date, they sent me an offer of 6 free months if I updated my credit card info and turned auto renew back on. I did that, renewed manually for 2 years, then once my new expire date reflected the 30 month extension, I deleted the credit card info and turned auto renew off again.

You can stack your subscription up by buying another 2 year. I queued it up to see if it was possible. LOL

Make sure you both disable auto-renewal and disconnect their ability to bill you, such as terminating anything they might have on Amazon Pay or whatever your paument method was.

Many people have reported their account has had auto-renew mysteriously re-enabled.

When it auto-renews, it always auto-renews at it’s highest rate. If you manually purchase, it will both bill you for the purchase and auto-renew you on top of that.

You also can’t get a refund, because you are more than 30-days from your INITIAL purchase. They won’t refund you within 30 days of your renewal.

Even better is to not work with companies with such shady business practices. If they’re willing to do this on the billing side, what might they also do with your data?

Bought a 3-year prepaid from Micro Center last night and it immediately returned a “Check the code, it seems wrong” error. Nord is claiming the code was redeemed on a different email address which is nigh impossible to me considering the Micro Center card was double sealed and they are still very much actively selling them. My concern is Nord nuked all these 3-year codes and didn’t tell retailers.

I don’t even see an option to delete payment info, just replace it with new info. Did you just enter bogus info for the replacement?

Oh that’s a great idea… I
