Hi, I’ve been trying to use my express vpn to watch things on Netflix in international countries, I’m sure that other people have tried to do that in here before. Anyways, Netflix has a vpn identifier that is constantly recognizing my vpn usage when I login to Netflix in another country. I’m using my pc to connect. Does anyone have advice on how to get around this? I think Netflix’s vpn protection is pretty new, or at least has upgraded within the past year. It didn’t use to be like this. Has anyone tried using express on a fire stick or anything else? Any ideas on how to do get around it with my pc?
Ask support, they have a list of alternate locations in most places
Reach out to support and ask for alternate city locations. They would usually give you some alternate ones that may work.
You might want to try other VPN.
VPN detection has become the norm with streaming sites so I definitely understand your pain not being able to watch something just because you’re not in the right geo for it. However, you may want to consider looking into some HQ proxies instead of a VPN (think along the lines of residential/mobile IPs whilst ignoring datacenter addresses). If you’re insistent on continuing to use a VPN, I would recommend that you scan the IP (VPN IP) using something like IPQS before you go ahead and use it on a streaming site : https://www.ipqualityscore.com/free-ip-lookup-proxy-vpn-test If it’s being detected by IPQS, there’s a 100% chance that it will get detected by the streaming site as well. Same principle could be exploited if you do decide to go the proxy route. Buy proxies (IPs) that don’t get detected and score a low fraud estimate on IPQS.
