Will Paramount+ service being restored?
Years ago I used the US Paramount+ app without issue, then it broke and was never fixed. I signed up for the Canadian/global P+ app but it also wouldn’t work due to the media streamer DNS.
For the past couple of years, I’ve subscribed to P+ channel via Apple TV interface, but just this week I get “region not supported” when trying to play any titles.
I would contact support, but the agents always make you go through the same stupid steps that are a complete waste of time.
Update: I got it to work perfectly fine as before, but had to use the media steamer DNS and disable to ExpressVPN app.
Live channels do not work. Says VPN has veen detected. Movies and everything works. Live channels do not.
What exactly did you do? I have the same problem with NordVPN
If using Apple TV, don’t use the app. With expressVPN, there’s a DNS address to manually input in the network settings. Use that instead of the app. Some services work well with the app, and others like Paramount, only work with the app disabled and using the DNS address.
Weirdly enough, I could only get it to work with the reverse setup. Just manual DNS input, but it does not work for me on either Apple TV via the app. Either way, got it working so all good. Thanks for sharing your setup.
Which USA location/server are you using? I tried several of them, but not all. Perhaps only a particular one will work.

I tried using Paramount with the DNS that Express provided (MediaStream) and it doesn’t work for me. I can access Paramount+ Canada and Australia with the app on the Apple TV though, it seems like they’re actively blocking anyone outside the US.
Ok. The paramount app itself won’t work, but you can subscribe to the paramount channel in AppleTV+ and that will work 
Yeah… that wasn’t the point, was it? The point is you can’t use Paramount US from other countries, and people subscribing to Express VPN should be aware it’s completely blocked.
Yeah, it’s exactly the point. I’m watching paramount US from Canada via Apple TV plus paramount channel subscription.
