I’m not necessarily trying to use a VPN to protect myself, but to play on different servers. I’m a Korean student who’s living in Canada right now for studying. I was wondering if I would be able to play games in a Korean server using a VPN, preferably with a ping below 60, is such possible? Or should I just give up.
Canada to Korea you’re unlikely to get a ping below 60ms. You’re limited by distance and the speed of light traveling through the fibre optic cables. At best you may get a ping of ~150ms to the Korean VPN, then extra ping to the game server.
To be honest it depends. Only server per server experience can answer. There is no rule to guess the result. You got to try and see. So do a vpn free trial and see for yourself.
