Damn mine renewed just at the start of this month. I’ll try contacting them tomorrow if renewals are eligible for their money-back guarantee.
Thats not the problem
I used before. It is good VPN
The connection was absurdly slow and inconsistent, which is why I switched over to Express. Having said that, not sure where to go now
EDIT: spelling
I just switched over today and I’m getting comparable speeds to what I was getting with ExpressVPN (89/140 on my chromebook). It’ll be nice not having to count how many devices I’ve logged into.
I let them know why I was canceling and the rep tried to reassure me, but who needs the drama and uncertainty. I’m trying to get some sort of partial refund out of them. I’ll let you know if I get anything.
Edit: On Oct 1st they refunded me for the year. A pleasant surprise!
Unfortunately Split Tunneling on Nord doesn’t work in the Win10 app, which is why I came to check out ExpressVPN. I guess this is a no go too… My search continues
Have you read the news about it? If not, you should.
Do you want to believe ex Malware company? Thats up to you. ExpressVPN is sold gone. Even Snowden don’t recommended it.
Wtf why do I get downvoted that hard? If you dont like Proton, then dont buy it, idk. But I still love it, no matter how often you press that downvote button
Proton is trustworthy? Seriously, I beg to differ - https://threatpost.com/protonmail-log-ip-address-french-activist/169242/
No it’s not. It’s located in 9 eyes alliance and has turned over data to authorities.
did something happen?
Here’s a sneak peek of /r/VPN using the top posts of the year!

Does mullavad also allow foreign Netflix or not?
Hahaha, serious? Proton just went ahead and screwed one of their customers by handing over their details to the authorities, like literally this month. I mean, they even changed their privacy policy to make it weaker. You want to trust them?
And Mullvad is great for privacy, but it does nothing when it comes to unblocking content.
After seeing this post, I investigated and you appear to be spot on. I checked others and they share a similar ethic. Seems to be general agreement that TOR is the best way to go; despite it’s shortcomings.
No, what news?? Please share. I am new to all this.
Ex-malware company. Not a malware company anymore. It’s listed on the London Stock Exchange. They have to be transparent. Read their reports and learn what they do now.
Ok, have you any proof of your claims? If so, great, please share it.
Don’t mind people of the cancel culture. If ProtonVPN does your job keep using it.
About the issue people are mentioning, it applies to protonmail only since Swiss law demands it to be logged. Vpn isn’t legally bound to the law. But potatoes gonna potate and cry on Reddit anyway.
