I’ve been using NordVPN for a few months now and I really like it. I was just wondering what is the advantage or benefit of adding the dedicated IP feature
When you use regular servers, you share an IP with other people, which can get those shared IP addresses blacklisted on some websites. With a dedicated IP, you get a unique IP that only you use, so more websites are accessible. Plus, with shared IPs, authentication can be a hassle. Since multiple devices log in from one IP, websites might flag you or ask for CAPTCHAs. A dedicated IP lets you avoid CAPTCHAs and browse without interruptions.
I bought a DIP for streaming purposes. Also helps if you install a vpn on your router. The router method has worked best for me to unlock US, UK streaming content . As always, YMMV.
Does having a dedicated ip somehow make you less anonymous or easier to trace?

I use the OpenVPN configuration file for my fixed IP address. I setup the vpn on an Asus Merlin router.
