Best paid vpn service in India

Hi could you guys suggest the best paid vpn that you guys would recommend. Proton vpn is becoming a bit too expensive for me now at almost 7k yearly so looking for something a bit cheaper. Please don’t recommend “free” vpns

I’ve heard really good things about mullvad vpn which is also recommended by privacy experts. They dont have an account system and their fees are always the same.

Depends on your purpose of using VPN. Go for Mullvad if you are looking for privacy. If you want to just to bypass blocks or hide your traffic from ISP. Get a $1 VPS and setup open vpn. I use both and both have their advantages and disadvantages.

I would recommend surfshark and private internet access

Surfshark has unlimited devices

Has anyone here tried Windscribe VPN on the ‘build your own plan’ option? The pricing is pretty attractive.

I use paid version of kaspersky VPN. It is good.

How is Proton VPN? Any experience with their service?

using surfshark, hasn’t disappointed me yet

Check Nord or Express

DiY setup one click vpn using linode
they have servers in mumbai…

Surfshark currently has a 24 month offer at 185rs/month for 4.4k. So you might wanna check that out.

Proton’s 1 year and 2 year plans are well priced. Particularly if you bundle it with their mail service. I think they have introduced calendar and storage services too, but I don’t use those. I picked Proton over Mullvad simply because of streaming. Their service is solid. I flag issues I run into and they reply within 24 hours

You can try hosting your own.

What about Avira? Or Nord or Surfshark? Windscribe paid

I’ve been using them for years for all my devices, and can’t recommend them enough. Plans start pretty low if you don’t need super fancy features. They have their own apps, or can use openvpn OS clients.

i can share my purevpn thats valid till 2027

Surfshark. The speeds are good and streaming works really well

What do you need a VPN for? Unless it’s for regional unblocking, a VPN is unnecessary. Despite the marketing, using one doesn’t improve privacy or security in any meaningful way.

Check out ProtonVPN. It has both a free and a paid version, and is literally built for privacy by a group of scientists headquartered in Switzerland.

Try avast vpn, about ₹900 for a year
