Hello, I was in China in July 2023 and tried to used ExpressVPN. It very rarely worked, and when it did, it was for like, an hour in the morning and then failed again.
However, my Canadian mobile phone provider offers a mobile roaming. I found out that when I used my phone in China (Shanghai and Beijing), it did not need a VPN. All of the google stuff, facebook, twitter, etc, worked. Even google map. Not on WIFI, on China Mobile data. It was expensive (15$ a day) for a trip to china… 150$ is not that big of a deal.

None. They’re all garbage. If you’re looking for a service, make sure is uses ObsProxy or another Obfuscation Protocol.

I used LetsVPN. So did my sales associates in China that I visited. I actually got it from them, works pretty well. Not always super fast but has coverage anywhere
On a desktop computer, install the app from https://caonima.io and configure your browser to use the proxy (localhost, port 1080). For an android phone, install Igniter version 0.10.3-beta (latest version doesn’t work on Android 10+) and configure it with one of the servers available. You only need to fill in the name of the server, for example simeon.tuppu.net, the port which is always 443 and finally the password you get from the website when you sign up. There’s a free trial for testing your connection.

My Astrill subs is coming to an end in late September, and I am looking for alternatives, tired of their shitty iPhone app and recently started having issues with MacOS client not working for US servers or suddenly stalling. WAs great when it worked, but with that crap, not for that price

Yes. And at least on Android you can try it for free for one hour I think (enough to see if it works)
How did u manage to get pass the payment process? I tried using my alipay(it prompted only for mainland user) & even my foreign credit card from its website but none of it work.
