I did a scan of the official Site on Virustotal: freevpnplanet.

Is the VPN free?

I’d strongly suggest never using a free VPN.

Gotcha thanks yeah tbh they have ads on it so best to stick with what I know,

I used the free version of protonvpn, for a bit before getting the paid version

I’m pretty sure you have a data cap on Proton VPN. It’s not much but it’s still their full product, they just limit it.

You could always make your own VPN and host it online. I do it. But also costs like £5 per month to run and some technical knowledge.
