Hi everyone, I’m considering purchase Macbook air M1 but not sure if OpenVPN Connect app can be installed and works fine on this machine or not. I really need it to work for my work. It would be great if someone can give me any idea about this. First time posting question on Reddit

yes. you have several options. my personal favourite is Viscosity.
OpenVPN Connect is their free VPN client and this is the page where you can get info on using it for macOS: https://openvpn.net/client-connect-vpn-for-mac-os/
I use TunnelBlick to read a .ovpn file and it works fine. Openvpn itself probably works too though.
What is the benefit of using Viscosity over the free openvpn connect client?
