I’ve suddenly become unable to access the DDG website while the Privado VPN is enabled. It works when I disable the VPN. Anyone else have this issue or a solution?
It is possible that the VPN server you are connecting from has been flagged for spam or abuse. Try changing to a different server.
I have not ever experienced a problem accessing ddg from a VPN, and you haven’t given enough info to know what the problem is so I am only speculating.
Have you contacted Privado regarding this issue, as is seems they are the source of the issue.
I’ve tried several other servers (Japan, Germany, Chicago, Atlanta) with the same unfortunate results. It seems to be a Privado VPN issue but their customer service is useless
This is the error message I receive regardless of which Privado VPN server I choose. It works fine when I turn the VPN off. I don’t understand why this issue just started a few weeks ago.
If you are in the market for a new VPN, Mullvad, Proton, iVPN, and AirVPN all have very good reputations and track records.
