Can't Import My Passwords Because of Ban

New PC, but I’m in America and its barring my from re-downloading Kaspersky and Kaspersky Password Manager. I can’t import my backed-up passwords, and it’s put me in a bad spot.

Kasperky doesn’t seem to have and customer support for USA atm.

Anything I can do, or am I Hit?

Edit: Got a solution courtesy of my Tablet, my phone and tablet that still had it installed + VPN. Downloaded with vpn on my tablet, moved it to my computer, validated it with my phone. Got my 51 passwords (apparently) back.

Not sure whether I’ll keep using it til my subscription expires or move on but for now I’m not in crisis mode so I’ll call it a win.

VPN to another country. I’m still using Kaspersky as I have a valid subscription but need VPN on to download daily virus database files.

This came on my feed. I am not from US but can put up a suggestion. Try downloading it via a VPN by choosing a non US country. upon downloading change the default Kaspersky update servers and add a non US one.

I resolved this by going into the Kaspersky software settings and I disabled the default “Kaspersky Update Servers” and then added a new source of http://dbl-01.geo.kaspersky.com/ and now it’s able to update the virus definitions automatically. I am NOT using a VPN and I am located in the United States.

Might work this way.

just export your passwords in a .csv file from kaspersky password manager and then import that .csv file into another password manager of your choice
