On my phone, I can only connect through stealth protocol, right now I can’t connect to Protonvpn on my Android TV,
I want to change the protocol setting on the TV app but I can’t find any settings on the Android TV app.

Hi! This functionality isn’t currently available, but we’ve passed on your feedback to our team so they can consider supporting such a feature in the future.
Really disappointing
I’m in Iran and no way to change connection protocol therefore not being able to connect to any servers!
Yep glad I did the free trial cause this alone is enough for me to pick a different company. Android TV app has zero settings I can’t even tell it to start automatically
been 5 months and still nothing?
I don’t want to start a new thread with this but, any updates?
This is an incredibly useful and basic feature in any VPN client.
Still waiting for this feature
any updates on this? android tv app has only basic functionality, no settings, unable to set up split tunnelling per app. I’m thinking of switching back to competitors
A kill switch would be lovely, too.
Hi! We’ll pass on your requests about switching protocols as well as auto-connect on start on the AndroidTV app. Customer feedback like this helps us prioritize future improvements across the Proton VPN clients for all of our supported platforms, so we appreciate your input!
Let us know if there are any other features you’d like to see as well, and we’ll be more than happy to pass on your suggestions.
Please include split tunneling in the Android TV app as well. I only really need the VPN for my IPTV app and would like all the other apps on the device to not use the VPN so I can still easily cast from my phone to the Android TV etc
