Like others here, I have been having connection issues while logging in on global for multiple devices. It was unplayable yesterday. I had to get a guild member to do my guild battles for me (and he farmed some dragons! Yay!) because I literally could not do anything with the connection issues.
I tried restarting my phone, I uninstalled the app and re-installed, I reset my network connection. Nothing helped.
Today, I tried to download VPN from the app store. It’s free, VERY easy to use, and has pretty much fixed the problem! I still get some connection issues every now and then and chat has its issues, but I’ve actually been able to play. The specific one I downloaded is this one, but I’m sure any probably could work.
I use the iPhone 6+ on Sprint.
Anyway, I hope this helps some of you out.
Andorid users: One user has reported that TapVpn works for android.
EDIT: A couple of users have expressed concern about using VPN servers and your personal information being protected. Please use these apps at your own risk. I do not know them or the owners of the apps and I don’t know what kind of privacy issues this may cause. If you have information you really want protected, you may want to not go this route to “fix” your connection issues to play the game.
Dear people who don’t know what a VPN is and how it works,
please do NOT use this app! This may be a security flaw on your super secure iPhones. The connection issues should be fixed by com2us and not by you accessing their server from other locations…
I have asked a lot of people about this issue. It seems to be only an issue with Sprint users. It must be an issue with Sprint changing something in their network and having issues communicating with Com2us servers.
This needs more upvotes. This is the kind of thing that falls under the “knows just enough to be dangerous” category. If you know what a VPN is and the risks involved and you’re okay with them, by all means, do it. But if you don’t, I’d suggest researching it first and make an educated decision.
