Firefox Unblocker not working anymore

So I’ve been using the CR-Unblocker on Firefox for some time now since the Chrome one got suspended by Google a while ago.Last weekend I binged 3 series on CR without any issue.Today I open it as usual and on the bottom it shows that my location is US, but I’m still getting region restricted for animes like HxH or Gridman. I’d be surprised if those were blocked in the US all of a sudden.

Anyone got the same issue? Are there any possible fixes?

EDIT: Someone recommended the Hola VPN extension - works for me so far.
EDIT 2: Hola seems to be pretty shady / bad / whatsoever according to a lot of people not only here but everywhere - decide for yourself if you wanna use it. Since it stopped working for me after a few days (not on CR but in general, the connection was terrible (sites didn’t load)), I decided to go with a paid VPN instead (god bless the speed of those).
For anyone new to this, please read through the comments below - you may find a fix that works for you.

Use a proxy to get the individual episodes links, turn on the extensions, browse to the links, profit.

The videos are not really blocked, just unlisted. Find the link to them and you can still watch them, a pain but still feasible.

The unblocker for edge also got hit.

CR seems to have changed something on their website recently breaking the CR unblocker. Not much can be done about it, the extension hasn’t been updated in a long time and the GitHub was DMCA’d.

You’re alternative is to use a VPN.

It semi-works on Chrome for me, I used it for One Piece.
I can’t see One Piece any more in my queue nor access the episodes if I search for, just says it isn’t available in my region. But it shows up in my history and I can watch it from there.

Not only that, i still had the unblocker on chrome, i too can’t access shows outside of region restricted ones. Is this the end? Have they figured out how to block the unblockers once and for all?

You should NOT use Hola… You are making your computer and bandwidth available to others to use, run any programs on it, and any shady stuff (ahem, child porn traffic) will appear to be coming from your IP address…

don’t use Hola whatsoever, you can find a cheap vpn that has a lifetime sub on ebay

Dunno why my post got deleted

Even the firefox extension isn’t working anymore and I don’t know what to do now since I live in shitty Germany where like 90% of all shows are country blocked. >.< I tried using a free VPN before, but it didn’t work because the videos wouldn’t load. I read that some people got the episode links from american friends, but I don’t have friends in america

Bad move just before season with no Funi anime

Well I don’t know about this, but when using a VPN, browser cache and sometimes cookies may be a problem, try resetting those.

Similarly my method of using a VPN to launch my browser and navigate to CR, turning the VPN off (subsequently avoiding any data usage on the free data limited version) has stopped working. I used to be able to do that and it’d save my geolocation as Canada thanks to the VPN, even after I turned it off, until it cleared my session from the site. No longer does that, as soon as I turn the VPN off, it hides all the content now.

Navigating to the direct episodes list and using that to get onto the episodes still works though.

The listing of episodes now seems to be based on the location the request was made from.

All can still be watched, as others have said. You just need a VPN for them to be listed.

Days before I was using this same Hola extension. It seems to not working anymore.

So I’m using SoftEther. Got a random connection to USA, and logged in Crunchyroll. And it won’t work as well. But I figured something. Go to bottom of the site, choose US language; go to your queue. Now you should see the blocked content.

But if a choose my native language (Portuguese), I can’t see the US exclusive content. I don’t now if this language is related, but that’s the way I figured out to avoid it.

I also will buy a NordVPN license on a site like Ebay. I don’t trust in SoftEther.

EDIT: It works on smartphone app too. Just got a VPN and change language to English and you’ll be fine.

The extension seems to work perfectly fine today.

How do you do this? I can only get to the simulcast ones, and only the latest and 2nd latest episode.

Wow really?
When it even hit Edge I guess CR finally made a move…

Not working for chrome too

Just to adress the “not updated in a long time”: there was simply no need for it until now. But as others already said, maybe they did implement more checks on some of their pages, making partial use of an VPN a requirement now.
