For those who use VPN, which one do you guys use?

I heard nordvpn and surfshark are the best

Anyone tried either of these two before ?

Which VPN do you use ?

Mullvad. Very reasonably priced (5 euros/7.50 CAD). Not a subscription model/no tiered pricing. Extremely secure. Can buy in Bitcoin. They have basically 0 customer data. It’s nice and their mascot reminds me of resetti from animal crossing

I’ve been using Private Internet Access for years without issues. No data logging.

I use NordVPN. It’s the only provider I’ve ever used so I can’t compare it to others. There have been a couple times where the site I was trying to watch something realized I wasn’t in that country but it works 99% of the time.

I use https://windscribe.com

They’re a Canadian company and I like to support Canadian companies whenever I can.

They have a free plan so you can give them a try without spending any money although it has some restrictions.

Did I mention they’re Canadian and we should support Canadian companies.

Their pricing is very competitive.

Current Fuscia Friday Deal $29.00 USD per year

Regular prices

Monthly Plan: $9.00 USD

Yearly Plan: $69.00 USD (equivalent to $5.75 USD per month)

Oooop! I think I forgot to mention, THEY’RE CANADIAN! Support Canadian businesses.

PIA for several years now.

Used PIA for years, but experienced DNS leaks and lots of app bugs. Switched to Google One, pretty useless as it only works in certain countries. Using Surfshark now on android os, seems good, but for some reason, the app accumulates over 1gb of data (not cache) on local storage. Like why?

I’ve been using NordVPN for almost a year and it’s the best VPN so far !
You can get it for almost free ( 100% Cashback) when purchased from Rakuten !
Watch out for deals on NordVPN !!

Torguard has been great for the last 3 years for me

Currently $16.50CAD/year lifetime locked rate for Black Friday with coupon code
BLACKFRIDAY2024

I use PIA it probably cost me 10k over the years because I paid in btc rather than cad

I use NordVPN. It gets the job done

NordVPN, my own OpenVPN server running on a VPS in Kansas, and when i need to access my home network an OpenVPN server on my home network

NordVPN has worked well for me, no issues and does what I need.

Only thing I’d love for it to do that it doesn’t do right now is split tunneling on MacOS

NordVPN. It works great

I currently have PIA. Subscribed since last year. Easy, user friendly interface. No issue with PIA at all. Went with them because it was cheap.

Use to have IPVanish. Again, no issue with this provider as well.

NordVPN is 75% off right now, there’s a bit of time left on their Black Friday sale. Got 2 yrs and 3 months for $118 instead of $400+. Not too shabby.

I pirate a lot so I use AirVPN since they never throttle torrenting, in additional to that I can use SSH and TLS tunneling which is something I wish other VPNs have. For work and just redditing I use ProtonVPN. I tried Surfshark but it lags and most of the local servers got throttled by websites so I canceled their sub, which the only usable thing is that you can have multiple uses that I let friends use them. Some free VPN I use is Riseup and Calyx.

AirVPN is 74% off right now for 3 years plan.

Depends on your needs, for just visiting a site you can just use some browser extensions from chrome.

If you need it for very high usage go for nord.

What do you need a VPN for?

2nd. You also get drive access etc…. Worth it.
