Help needed with choosing a good VPN

Hey guys,

The few VPNs I have tried out in Turkey over the past years have been horribly slow even though they were secure (Mullvad/ProtonVPN). I’ll be visting my family in a few weeks and I really would like to be able to make use of a good, secure and fast VPN.

I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations?

Must:

- Keep no logs.

- Not be an American or Turkish company please.

- Have no censorship.

Optional:

- Servers in Europe.

- Wireguard support.

- Android app.

- Killswitch.

- Account-sharing.

Thank you in advance!

Been using Mullvad for over 2 years now. Always getting my MSP bandwidth limit through wg servers, and used to get over ovpn. The only problem is they are definitely not cheap. I don’t know your experience with them but what I like the most about them is that they support almost every possible way of connection with very high bandwidth. (proxies, ovpn, wg even port fwd)

Highly recommend PlexVPN. It doesn’t leak your DNS and also doesn’t store any logs. It is really fast for me and you can have a try vis its free trial. This app can work on Android, IOS, pc, MACos and Ubuntu. Also, it provides multiple Europe servers, such as UK, France, German,Luxembourg, Norway and Netherlands. You can log in the same account one several devices at the same time.

Before paying for a vpn use a trial version first because sometimes they don’t work with every ISP. For example NordVPN and ExpressVPN works with Turk Telekom but not Superonline.

I use F-Secure Freedome, it’s from Finland and it has every feature you want except for wireguard support.

i offer not a vpn…tor browser…it can do what you need…

I recomend you proton vpn. You can choose from specific locations amd you get a 1 week free trial of premium wich allows you to connect by using secure code. After 1 week you can keep using it for free.

More recommendations, thanks :D!

Last time I gave them a try in Turkey was 1 or 2 years ago, through Wireguard. The slow speed might have been related to my setup (hopping through two server locations). Don’t you get a lot of Cloudflare captcha’s when using Mullvad?

.

Oh wow, I didn’t know there were some ISPs actively blocking some VPNs. Thanks, I’m unsure which provider we’ve got a home, but I’ll be sure to test t out before committing to something :).

Thanks, but apparently they do keep some logs :(.
