Sorry if this question is unrelated to Torrenting, but I guess you can use the same VPN to accessing a torrenting site as other blocked websites.
We just got our tabs for school, and almost every website I try to visit is blocked—even YouTube. Naturally, I’d like to find a way around this. The school uses an iBoss filter with an admin-enforced proxy, so even on my own Wi-Fi, I can’t access restricted sites. I’ve already tried using several VPNs, but none have worked so far. Does anyone have any other ideas or suggestions?
And is there a way to access websites that are blocked on my internet connection without paying for a VPN?
You can’t “unblock” websites and paying for a VPN service won’t help you.
I think you need something like this:
https://www.proxysite.com/
https://hide.me/en/proxy
https://zend2.com/
You can enter the URL of the blocked website there and browse normally
You could try using a proxy website. Some proxies aren’t blocked by filters like iBoss.
If its for educational purposes, you might politely request an exemption from your school’s admin team for specific websites.
Have you tried using a proxy website? They often bypass iBoss filters. Websites like HideMyAss or KProxy can be worth a shot.
Try accessing blocked sites via a Google Translate link or archive services like Wayback Machine. Its a creative workaround.
