You cancel whenever you like and your contract will end before your next renewal date so if you sign up in January for a year and cancel in February, you’ll have it to December so you’ll be paying for the year whether you like it or not

One day, you will want to cancel. And you will be stuck with a bunch of months you don’t want. And maybe you’ll forget to cancel before the renewal date…has happened to me with everal annual subscriptions. They really don’t save money unless you are in for the really long haul.
I guess it doesn’t apply to you then but thanks for making yourself known for some reason.
It just grinds my mind when these companies have got a good thing and then they just have kick up dust for some baffling reason. In a digital world where there are ten other companies doing exactly what you’re doing just waiting to poach your customers. It doesn’t make any sense to upset your customers.
I’m sure somebody makes a decision just so they can keep their job for another year. What they should have done is offered a better incentive to go to an annual plan. What a shame though. See ya later forever.

Agreed! Sent an email asking them to explain the reason, had a response that was absolutely pre-written by a marketing team. All fancy words not really saying anything.
Makes you realise it’s just a money grab by tying people into a 12 month commitment. Even Adobe (yes those money grabbing scumbags), offer monthly commitments for their products - albeit at a higher overall cost.

Might I add, no where really to complain to other than here.
Butwarden is decent and fast in my opinion compared to Nordpass that I’m using.
I have the same issue, I was paying INR 550, now they’re asking 7800.

If they’re going to make it annual only then, they should at least allow you to cancel within the first month without penalty, and get a pro-rated amount back.
