Are games cheaper on the Turkish and Brazilian Xbox marketplaces?
Anyone worked out a way to buy windows versions of games?
or are we pretty much saying buying them is dead now as things can only be bought on console?
There are scattered reports of legitimate users within those regions (argentina/Turkey) that can’t buy things due to the “incorrect region” error despite themselves being in the actual correct region. Let’s hope this is something microsoft fixes eventually because otherwise I’ll just move all my purchases to steam.
Anyone in this post buy a game in a different region on their Xbox console since they blocked it on website and app and if so have you been banned doing it that way? I just have a big library and don’t want to loose it

I did it with Brazil with gift cards for YEARS and it says ‘‘incorrect region’’ now, did anyone find a fix ? How do they even know it’s not the right region if absolutely everything on my account is set there ?

Hi people, I read something about it and appears that Microsoft will block region changes and purchases on consoles and PC, payment method and region must match, they said that beginning September 30th region change will not longer active and will be like PS with blocked region so that means we will not longer able to buy something :')
Did anybody try Turkey with nordVPN from console? On monday it worked without VPN on console. Now it doesnt.

I actually live in Ankara now. Full-time.
I am from America, and my account is 15 years old. So imagine my genuine befuddlement when I woke up like 4 days ago and found myself completely unable to use the Xbox store from the country I *live* in.
My income is in Lira. Which obviously does not exactly stack-up against the USD.
So while I *could* switch to the US store, as I have checked and can access, we’re talking about prices that are upwards of 100x my income, in a currency I don’t use for anything else.

What’s the point in a store that just doesn’t work?
Though you can’t savage any current credit in your primary account:
Set up a new Microsoft/Xbox account with the country you want to purchase from.
Purchase giftcard for that region and reedem on your new account (I had to use VPN to redeem)
Purchase games from the country’s store.
Download to 2nd account
Play from your primary account
Profit
It’s not working, i do it many times and nothing, Microsoft support said: change account to the first region you bought games and I do, but error again.
