My sibling has 1Blocker for their iPhone, and I have it for my android. Is 1Blocker a good VPN & Ad blocker?
It is a great adblocker. It is NOT a VPN, it just installs a local extension that acts like a VPN to block ads in apps, but this is not a real VPN.
Just looked it up. It has good ratings. Try it out and report back?
I didn’t knew 1Blocker is available for Android. Are you sure, it is really 1Blocker? 1Blocker on iOS, iPadOS and MacOS works fine and the so called firewall is just available on iOS and iPadOS and it is not really a VPN it is just a set of filters who blocks trackers for all other apps outside Safari.
So is 1Blocker … I mean the real 1Blocker.com … really available for android? If so, for what browsers, because 1Blocker is just made for Safari browser.
How does 1blocker compare to adguard pro?
I had it for like a year and I liked it. It just ran out recently so I’m gonna try something else.
What browser do your brother use? Chrome or safari? If safari adguard, if chrome ….oh i forget they dont have extensions in mobile.
If you use app, then cloudflare warp + adguard for safari . Do note that cloudflare is a “vpn”. It hide ip and traffic from your ISP but not the website that use cloudflare (ofc the ip isnt dirrectly to you but approximate region near you)
Why are you using that on Android? The main way to block ads on Android is to set your private DNS to dns.adguard.com. Alternatively if you have root you can use AdAway and block ads via the host file (works a bit better). As for the web browser use Firefox or Kiwi because unlike Chrome both of them support extensions. Finally look into modded APKs like YouTube Revanced. iOS users have to use things like 1blocker because of how locked down iOS is compared to Android
I use it on iOS for years (paid). But I had no idea it is a VPN. 
I have the paid version and it’s been great. The only app to block youtube ads in safari and not cause any delay in playback. Combine with sponsorblock for extra profit.
It’s not a VPN. It’s just adblock. But a good one. I have it and it’s great
I use Nord and really happy with it. I’m a US resident living in Germany for work so it’s on alllll the time. I think the only big draw to expressvpn for me is they don’t have auto connect on untrusted wifi networks

If you want Chrome with extensions on Android you use the Kiwi browser

It has vpn capabilities
that’s how VPNs should work!

- ephemeral storage in RAM
But he owns the product. How can he not know if its good. If its not good he wouldnt use it
