I just now found out Azire was bought by Malwarebytes and I just want to know if it’s a bad thing. From my knowledge, Azire seems to be a reputable VPN. No trackers on their websites or apps. They have a pretty good strict no-log policy.

I’d like to think Mullvad wouldn’t associate itself with Malwarebytes if they were up to anything shady, since I feel like reputation is pretty much anything going for most VPNs these days and Mullvad usually tops the list for a lot of people because of their history and policies.
They didn´t change their privacy policy or anything other than the owner I do not think it is bad that they got acquired if anything it might be good, Malwarebytes has been in business many years and they probably have more resources than Azire had, they will be able to do the necessary investments, and Azire has always been a small VPN they probably did not have too many spare resources.
Honestly though them buying another VPN could probably be a sign Malwarebyes wants to host their own equipment instead of just reselling Mullvad.
