Edit: This is potentially a problem with EE (for UK players at least), if you could disclose your internet provider and are having the problem it would be much appreciated!
It seems like any connection trying to access the JP servers right now outside of a Japanese IP address is having issues. You can get into the game with a VPN (I recommend VPN Cat - which is free - for iOS users).
I’m really hoping this is temporary because some of Bandai’s gacha games like Jumputi are region locked.
Feel free to share your suggested VPNs as well!
Edit: Seems like connectivity issues are finally over
Edit 2: Able to get into the game but still constantly dropping connection
I have problems over wi-fi but it works perfectly fine over mobile data
I’m in France and the game works fine. Maybe a particular country is blocked because of commercial reasons …?
I’m in Canada and my Brother uses IOS I have an Android Tablet and I also tried NOX and can log in with no issues. Not using a VPN either so unless there is something else to factor in it’s definitely not region locked exclusively to japan.
It happens from time to time. Don not sweat it since it always resolved in a matter of hours/days. I can’t imagine optc jpn going region locked since in the most recent survey they asked where you came from and the last option was “overseas”.
I’ve been trying to login to the game for ~12h now and It’s not working so this sucks balls.
I play from Sweden and we’ve got great internet net here both WiFi and mobile but ain’t working.
I can’t imagine how bad the issues must be that a VPN of all things will alleviate them.
Not in Japan, not using VPN, I’m connecting fine
Had problems yesterday and used a VPN connected to a Germany server to log in ( I’m already in Europe). Another VPN connected via Singapore didn’t work. So it doesn’t seem like an EU problem.
Works fine without a vpn now, which is great because it means they are working on it and because vpns are the
.
For my WiFi the solution was to set another DNS Server for the device or even in general in the router settings. I am using the Cloudflare DNS now (Google has good one too).
