I’ve got my work laptop at home trying to connect and having no luck. My wife’s work laptop started having the same problem connecting yesterday as well. To troubleshoot, i asked around and another NCO in my unit can’t connect either.
I’ve done the standard off-on restart & trying other VPN sites (Instead of Langley which I normally use)
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround?
Don’t use that VPN, there should be an icon on your desktop that’s for a USAF VPN, use that. It’ll give you a green button to push then a prompt will appear that you accept. That’s how you know it worked.
Mine quit yesterday. The other USAF desktop VPN appears to work.
Try working from work and enjoy the weekends.
May the odds ever be in your favor
Mine was doing the same thing last night
How do you download the VPN to your personal computer? I can’t find any links to the software download. I don’t have a work computer and I need to access a secure site.
USAF VPN doesn’t seem to be working either. Unless you know a trick? Even when I switch servers, it still says “unable to connect”
Those types of VPNs (lacklands, mcguire, mcchords) only give you like 25 hours of use but the USAF VPN is unlimited.
What is a weekEND?
On a serious note: For personal development reasons, I have a vested interest in accomplishing schoolwork and just happen to need access to some datasets on NIPR for that work.
Type ‘software center’ into the text/search bar in the Taskbar and you’ll see a list of programs to install.
Hmm, unfortunately I don’t know any other way. I never had a problem with the USAF VPN
Yeah, I know they time out but mine wouldn’t even connect.
