Honestly they should not be separate services. They’re $1 apart and I cannot imagine needing YT music so desperately but being completely uninterested in the extra $1 for no ads on normal youtube. (and no adblock really doesn’t suffice esp if you use it on TV or even phone)

I use Spotify for streaming and am forced to pay for YouTube Music, just because I want no ads in YouTube (Germany).
THOUSANDS of my songs on YT and they make more money than ME from MY MUSIC! Great platform for bankrupt musicians!

Samsung here is like a one stop shop for everything. Schools, apartments, healthcare, tech, etc

Yeah the choice with going YouTube music was a no brainer to me. It’s around the same price with an extra benefit of no ads
Yeah, getting YouTube premium was a no-brainer for me. I watch a lot of YouTube videos, so stream music and no ads on videos for a few dollars more? Hell yeah!
