Migrated to UDMP — can’t delete stale site-to-site VPN network

I had 3 sites on cloud key G2 with site-to-site (AutoVTI) vpn configured between the two of those. Upon importing one of these two to UDMP the site-to-site network (while not supported and disabled)still appears in the list and cannot be deleted — attempt to do so fails with “api error”.

I assume because autovti is not supported on UDMP this configuration ended up in a limbo.

Any advice how to nuke it? What’s the magic CLI trickery in UnifiOS? Controller 6.0.43 UDMP 1.8.4

If this is just a UI thing I would not worry — my consern is that some other internal state may have ended up half-baked and could cause issues later.

I am having the same exact issue and would be interested in hearing a solution. If I find something, I will be sure to post a solution as well.

Did anyone figure this out? I heard support said to clear the configuration, and setup from scratch but that really isn’t an option for me.

Brilliant :). Guillotine is always the surest remedy for headache.

I just ignore it for now. Does not bother me really. Timeless artifact of migration, to reminisce about times when AutoVTI worked :slight_smile:

Unfortunately I have sites using the same /24’s so the site to site won’t establish a new connection since the UDM already “sees” one in the configuration.

Can you not re-configure that existing connection for your new site to site? You can change it from autoVTi to Manual and configure. Does it not work?

As soon as I hit save, I get this:

There was an error saving the S2S Test network. Not implemented.

I might just bother support again and tell them a complete reset isn’t an answer in a production environment.

Doh. So it is indeed in the limbo.

Keep nagging them. Get to second level support. Hopefully you succeed and everyone else gets a solution :slight_smile:
