No longer connecting or at least not as quickly?

Recently, it feels like it’s hard for expressvpn to connect? I’ve been seeing a lot of “internet traffic is blocked” whether it’s on my mobile data or on a wifi network. My app is up to date and so is my android. Is this just me? Also, it feels like my connection drops a few levels when using the vpn. Like I use to be able to watch YouTube videos but I’ve noticed a lot more buffering.

Are you somewhere that likes to try and block/limit VPN use?

Hi OP, have you reached out to customer support? They can help you get the most out of the app. A few things that may help:

- Making sure you’re using Lightway UDP when you’re watching YouTube videos. We recommend setting it to Automatic for the best experience overall though.

- Checking your WiFi connection (giving your router a restart can solve a number of issues).

- Restarting your phone and giving it a fresh boot.

- If the Smart Location server isn’t giving you the speeds you think you should be getting, try a server closer to where you are.

I am having no issues at all. Also have NORD and having more issues connecting with that, then ExpressVPN. Quite often if on WIFI at the gym, I cannot connect on either, and I believe being that it’s a city run gym, they are blocking me. Leave, get outside on data, or home in my wifi and all is good again.

Not sure really. Was here a week ago and didn’t have these issues
