Can you tell me which servers work for you on iOS?

It’s likely nords servers are getting blacklisted. You’ll either have to keep looking until you find one that isn’t blacklisted yet or just turn off the vpn. Or go to another vpn but it’s likely they are also being blacklisted too. Many streaming companies are cracking down on vpns by blacklisting their ips. It’s basically a constant cat and mouse game.
Pretty sure Express VPN is already blocked too,
Hopefully surfshark works?
Kinda disappointed since my subscription ends in 2022, they better fix this ASAP.
Nope, nothing special honestly it came back automatically.
I’m not sure exactly which ones worked, but I just chose US, and most of them worked. Took some time to load, but worked at the end.
Once I tried the alternative less used servers of the country picked, sometimes it works

doesn’t nord/smartplay do dns hijack for svods so it uses residential hola addresses instead? you can verify this by looking at the ip in your netflix viewing history btw(mine was ipv6 even…nowonder no other svod wants to support the quickest way to fool them)
btw op you should close your browser and do ipconfig /flushdns before changing servers
and consider smartdnsproxy or dns4me instead
Spot on. It’s indeed a cat and mouse game. I blame the YouTubers who shill VPNs to every single viewer out there. This results in an inevitable dilution/fingerprinting of the IPs (that belong to the VPN’s IP pool) and a subsequent detection by sites like IPQualityScore. An alternative is to use a proper proxy instead (such as a mobile/residential IP and never datacenter). Basically look for anything that may still have access to untarnished addresses (i.e. addresses that not a lot of people have used). So looking for a VPN provider that’s on the up and yet to have a large user base may also be a solution.
Indeed it is, got a trial to try and see if I could use it with express and nothing, but I’m confident that Nord will fix this soon, not even Netflix could beat them
Thanks! In my case now the app opens, but it shows me an error message when I try to select a profile
From what I heard there are companies that contract with the streaming companies that do nothing but collect IPs of vpn servers. So instead of the streaming companies waiting for a certain type of IP to get detected, it already has a list provided by the contract company to compare to and block.
This is just what I recall seeing in another thread asking the same questions.
NordLynx
exactly same issue with surfshark.
Shouldn’t be too hard then lol
