Pizza Hut rewards fraud?

For my company this is treated as theft and is grounds for immediate termination. 99% sure this is standard for all pizza huts. It’s one of the reasons points can’t be redeemed at the store level

Louder for the ones in the back.

Did she even steal 200 grand worth of points? :sob:

I feel like they gon get caught either with corporate or by a manager :sob:

But is it illegal? I’d risk my peasant job, but i wouldn’t risk jail time

Blacklisted from a minimum wage job? The horror!

And the Pizza Hut police :police_officer: are rolling up like the SS.

These corporations steal from us everyday.

The company is typically stealing from you anyway so

This comment was satire btw. At my car wash job anytime someone paid with cash, we’d put it in our pocket then ring them up a free wash, I need it more then the CEO needs another new Benz

VPN doesn’t make a difference. The rewards is linked via phone number and email. Pizza Hut has started flagging and denying generic email accounts from certain domains (@email.com, @ymail.com, etc…)

You don’t understand how the system works if you think this. Most rewards are tied to phone numbers or online accounts. If neither then they would have been lost in the void. It’s the same as chipotle customers going through the line and not using rewards and tossing their receipt and someone else coming along and saving the points….

And when they do get caught, they get fired and the rewards account gets reported for fraud and they lose all the points anyways. Some franchisees will also prosecute if they find a large amount of fraud.

It may be considered fraud but that depends on the state you or they are in

Yes. See my previous comment for more details, but I worked with someone who did this at another company. When she got caught, it wasn’t just a normal firing. Loss prevention came down with the police. She got arrested and it was on her record.

Some franchisees will prosecute as theft, and win. Saw one report that an employee got caught after $100 of rewards were redeemed and they got caught putting their rewards info on orders from customers that had no rewards. The employee was sentenced to a fine of $10000 and 2 years imprisonment.

If you get black listed with PH it’s for all yum brands unfortunately. You may not think it’s a big deal but it makes it harder getting a job

If that’s the only job they can get, then that would suck to be blacklisted. Managers talk to other managers at other businesses.

Always that 1 person. I’m 100% sure there is legit yum parent company in here so keep thinking that

They do? Then report it.
