Saily, a new eSIM from NordVPN has launched. Thoughts?

I agree. Way too expensive. I do not think I would want to pay such a premium for a 24 hours customer service which you might or might not get. If the competitors Esim fails to work for whatever reason, I can always buy another one from a different provider or locally and still be financially ahead

Just an update, it seems the prices have lowered. It is now $43 for 20GB over 30 days in Canada.

For shorter period of time FirstyApp is only €2 per day for 2GB plus free low speed data if you watch advertisement

Monty esim cheaper and 24/7 amazing support
And there bundles work in all of europe

Let us know how it turned out.

Keep us updated, but honestly, way too pricey

Which is also overpriced IMHO, but for sure depends on your needs.

Did you try Saily eSIM in Malta?

As long as your phone supports Esim and carrier unlocked

I do not think it’s a premium product. As someone mentioned, they are reselling like most of the others

Afaik, most stuff is ridiculously expensive in the US or Canada compared to, well, most countries. That includes such services as eSIM. The same 20GB in Austria for 30 days is 20$ - I went there for a month some time ago, and it would have been much cheaper than my usual SIM provider.

Also, 24/7 customer support is very important when travelling - you don’t wanna get stuck without the internet in the middle of nowhere. I think that’s why it’s a bit more expensive.

I’ve been using Monty for the last week in Egypt. Decent prices and works well.

maybe it’s worth the money?

Not yet, comming only on next week. Still need to check if I really need it

Mobile service in Canada is known to be among the highest cost across all modern countries. The U.S. isn’t that bad but, yes, EU has much lower costs and greater competition.

Regarding customer support: If you don’t have Internet how are you going to contact customer support? Most of these are data only eSIMs.

Prices are gonna go down soon according to the cs too!

I doubt this, but we shall see.

Mark my words all gcc will be cheap
