Setting up VPN on Cisco EPC3825

I am trying to set up the VPN on my modem but the parameters I can put in the configuration page are quite different with the ones I am provided. My VPN is VPN Unlimited by KeepSolid, and they have a webpage that allows me to choose the protocol and gives me the connection parameters. However the modem webpage does not really match these and I wouldnt know what I am supposed to put there. For instance, my modem requires:

  • Local Secure Group (IP address or subnet)
  • Remote Secure Group (IP address or subnet)
  • Remote Secure Gateway (FQDN or IP address)
  • Key management…
    • Key Exchange Method (IKE by default)
    • Encryption (3DES)
    • Authentication (MD5)
    • PFS (Disabled by default)
    • Pre-Shared key
    • Key Lifetime

But the VPN provider gave these to me:

  • General Info
    • Domain name
    • psk
  • Device Config
    • Login
    • Password
  • Global Config
    • Login:
    • Password:

Now I would guess that Local Secure Group can be the subnet of my LAN that I want to set into the VPN so 192.168.0.0 will do. Remote secure group isnt specified so 0.0.0.0? And the Remote Secure Gateaway is the same as General Info - Domain name? Then I am given 1 psk and 2 passwords but only one field where to put PSK in the modem config? So if anyone has set something similar up in the past I could use some help  thanks

Your modem supports a (very outdated 3DES!?!?) point to point tunnel. Your VPN provider does not support that. You have to use their app.
