Stuck at connecting

24h ago everything was working fine but now I’m stuck at connecting with everything (so show or movie has good health).

Never had a VPN so I doubt that’s the issue.

The other thing the FAQ mentions is ‘‘it might be something locally on your system/network’’… what am I suppose to look for?

Can you still open yts.mx and popcorn-ru.tk directly in your browser? If you can’t then your ISP is blocking but if you can then try restarting the app and if that still doesn’t work then try disabling your AV/Firewall to see if they are causing the issue.

My neighbour who has a different ISP has the same issue for the past few days… maybe it is a VPN issue?

I have the same problem! On my stationary PC everything is fine but on my laptop I’m stuck at loading screen.
This occurred 2 months ago and I re-downloaded probably 6-7 different popcorntimes.

I can access both website and there doesn’t seem to be anything blocking popcorn time in my firewall. Turned it off as well and still stuck at connecting.

I restarted the app and my computer as well.

It seems like if they want us to use their own VPN. I used my SurfShark VPN and was stuck as well. When i disconnect it, the download begins.

Sorry but I’m not sure what the issue is with yours. You could try to ‘flush all databases’ making sure to back up the items in the Cache and Database folders (in settings) beforehand to see if that has an effect. If no one posts any other ideas and if everything still stays red and connecting then try a fresh install.

Did you use their VPN? Its weird because I didn’t update or change popcorn time… must be on the server side I assume then

Uninstalled and reinstalled deleted everything… still stuck at connecting… it’s weird because I had been using for a month with no issue at all and I haven’t changed anything

Have you tried to use the Torrent Collection feature and does whatever you’ve selected stay on connecting? After that I’m completely out of ideas especially if nothing new has been put onto your system to cause this.

I have the same issue for a few weeks now. Tried everything but still blocked at leading…

What do I do in torrent collection? I’ve never used that feature… I find it very odd that my neighbour has the same issue… was working earlier this week and now nothing… we have different ISP, different computers, etc. but same issue stuck at connecting

The Torrent Collection allows users to search other sites for content which is not available in the app or does not have good health.

If you’re still having issues then just try it with a free VPN (like Windscribe free) to see if your ISP is blocking the P2P part of the app.

Neither are working… used the VPN and changed my location to Paris, France and still didn’t work.

Torrent collection did not work as well… kind of running out of idea here!

So I did some testing and… It works just fine on another computer (no VPN).

Back to main computer… I created a new Windows user and for some reason… it worked!

A glitch in the matrix!! Glad you’ve got that sorted as I’d exhuasted all my ideas.
