Since I renewed for another 2y and since the last update, the app shows a ‘Log in’ button which redirects me to the sign in website, I sign in successfully, redirect to the app…
And then the process starts all over again.
I am unable to login to the app at all.
Is anyone else having this issue?
I had this on Android, temporarily set my default browser to Chrome and it fixed the problem.
Yup. Delete and reinstall. Only way to get around it. Big update.
Just clear your browsers cookies and cache and login again.
Let me know if you find a fix. Unable to use the service because of this. Tried using several different browsers.
What worked for me was to close the app from the system tray, then open it by clicking the return to app button on the browser page.
Before quitting it as mentioned above, I was actually able to right click on the system tray icon and quick connect even though the app was forcing me into the browser loop. I quit the app from tray, terminated the connection I had going and it worked after that
In short, install the gnome-keyring if running a distro other than gnome.
To get out of the login loop with POP OS 20.04 I ran the command below. If you run ‘nordpass’ in a terminal you should be prompted to run this command.
snap connect nordpass:password-manager-service

I still had the login loop after the above cmd in Manjaro KDE. What finally got me working was installing the gnome-keyring
pamac install gnome-keyring
I suspect, from what NateOnLinux got from Nordpass support, that any KDE or XFCE Distro may have the same problem.
This was an annoying… lol. Figured I should share as I landed on this post over and over.
Use chrome for everything.
Cleared cache and cookies. Still fucked.
I’ve done that. Still fucked.
Tried that. Still fucked.
Right… so, I got it working.
Uninstall and download the latest version from website.
Install.
Restart.
Open app and click login.
Do online login guff then CLOSE the browser after it confirms you’re logged in. Reopen app then WAIT.
For some reason, this worked.
Why they had to change the login process is beyond me.

Might be a permission thing. Firewall?
Try clearing your browser cookies and cache AND your apps cache. It might be stored on both.
I tried that, and every combination of closing and opening different windows, different browsers and waiting. At one point an update came up and I installed that and tried it all again. Nothing makes that NordVPN window change. Thank you though.
Update: I ran VPN as administrator and it finally worked!
Never had an issue with it before. All clear through the firewall.
lol. Fuckin thing.
Shouldn’t be this hard should it.
Thankfully my wife thought of it or I’d still be trying
