VPN IP banned from Tuta, way around it available?

Is there any way to bypass this? I never use my actual IP and route all of my actions through TOR and VPNs for daily use. Tuta blocks me from signing up :frowning:

Unfortunately, spammers abuse VPNs and Tor to sign up so we need to block some, others should work. In any case, even if you sign up without a VPN, we do not track your IP.

Try again with a different VPN server?

Switch to a different VPN server or a different country, that would probably solve it.

But I agree that Tita shouldn’t block any VPN server and should have an onion site (if it doesn’t already).

Tuta banning VPN ??? really ??

No issues for me with Mullvad or OVPN.

There is enough ways to identify spammers without the need to block the ip…

In other words tuta don let you be anonymous, we need to know who you are …and trust us

That’s not correct, if you keep trying, you will find a VPN or Tor connection that works, but it’s sometimes difficult.

12 tries later, I agree with the guy. It’s not just difficult, it’s painful. I’ll just stick to Proton.

That could be an expensive exploration unless you can get free trials of different VPNs. I just went through a VPN search for myseld. Mullvad is cheap enough if you sign up for 1 month for testing. Nord and Surfshark have trials but you have to add credit card info and have to remember to cancel before the end of the trial. Privado and Windsribe have free usage with limited server access, but you are limited to 10gb/month. Don’t bother with Proton free because it has only 3 to 5 servers, which are very slow, and not all features are available.

I just left both and come to iCloud mail…

Haha. A closed source, proprietary, apple, app.

Then why are you even here?

I’m here to get dislikes from you
