Enjoy this distro mostly, but for some reason Windscribe VPN wont connect…re-installed aur package, reboot = same.
This is the only distro I’ve used that has this issue, Manjaro KDE and xfce work fine.
I’m able to login to windscribe acct and it goes on and attempts handshaking, but always returns
Failed to connect message.
Proton VPN works fine, however. OpenVPN and Wireguard are installed, this is Gemeni KDE ver. fwiw Pretty much been through firewall settings, changing protocols, etc to no avail.
Any “good news guys” out there with a fix for this? TIA
It works fine on my end. Never actually had an issue with it. Only difference is that I don’t use the AUR package. I download their .zst file from their site and install it with this command sudo pacman -U --noconfirm your-package.pkg.tar.zst
And if you’re worried about updates, the app actually keeps updating after that no problem. It’ll tell you that it has an update and you just do the update from within the app.
ok…got it. I always used the command line ver in the past and didn’t know about the gui for arch. It must be new. Thanks. up and running…
It is not that new, but kind of. Glad it is running for you now
