I never stepped foot on USA, I live in Canada yet my account is banned because of US TIKTOK LAW.

did you make your account in the us? i did that too before moving in 2021. for me it’s not the app- it’s my account

when i delete the app and re-download it’s all good until i try to log into my old account.

Me too I live in Canada but my account still got banned?? Does anyone know how long it will take till this gets fixed

They’re gonna shut it all down to get that sweet Meta server technology in place for everyone. Tiktok might not be “saved” for America but everyone is going to get whatever that means

Same here. Re installed, and the app says I’m not allowed to log in. My email id is set up in the Canada location.

Your accounts in Canada still use US servers is my guess. Give it 3 days and you should be back in business.

I have one video on my FYP and can’t scroll. If I hard close the app and reopen I get a new video. If I go to following it says I should follow people but by account has hundreds followed. Definitely in a strange limbo.

Yeah, VPN and TOR are a no go. Either its down everywhere like mentioned earlier or they are blocking known VPN IP’s, etc. Btw… I’m using NordVPN and tried servers from all over the world.

As a US Person using Tiktok past the ban Still Change your play store locale to Canada, Use a Candadian VPN I’m using Mullvads Vancouver Servers. Get a Canadian SMS number on google voice, Create a new Gmail in Canada while using a Canadian VPN Server to get Canadian SMS verification. Trump sucks mitigate all socials to Canada. Some ACTUAL Canadian Users are effected reports seem I can’t help those people hack into their own country their ISPS likely use United States Peering Networks.
